The vision behind EcoSparkles has always been to take care of the nature around us and to give back to Mother Earth where we can.
The passion to start the whole project arose back at the beginning of 2016 when our founder, Nanna, traveled to Ecuador to work in a project deep in the Amazon rainforest. In this project they worked on the re-establishment of the rainforest, as well as the protection of wild animals rescued from captivity with a view to releasing them back into the jungle.
Amazoonico has been around since 1993 and has helped thousands of wild animals back to freedom. As part of a larger project, Selva Viva, they are working to restore biodiversity and help endangered species survive in a larger area of protected rainforest.

Since the love for nature runs so deep in the heart of EcoSparkles, in the summer of 2018 we chose to make our "EcoSparkles Pledge", where we promise to donate a percentage of our profits back to the project where the passion was kick-started!
Since 2018, we have donated 8% of our annual profits to Amazoonico

We work closely with the producers of the original Bioglitter® - the creators of the world's first biodegradable glitter. It took them over 10 years to develop our products, and to this day it is still the only glitter on the market that is tested and certified naturally degradable - thus the world's most environmentally friendly glitter.
